We are excited to announce the Mini Mermaid Running Club (Vine Hill PTA endorsed) is coming to you!
Mini Mermaid Running Club (MMRC), est. 2009 - We are an after school running club for elementary school-aged girls, K- 5. The mission is to teach every girl to lead a healthy life by listening to her inner voice, valuing her uniqueness, learning to love movement and discovering the finish line is just the beginning.
MMRC focuses on teaching girls to realize their full potential. Through games, journal activities, team building and physical fitness, girls are taught the tools necessary to be strong and confident, and to see these things inside themselves. Each practice/lesson is aimed at helping every girl to see how amazing she is, regardless of her circumstances.

What is Music Lingua?
Overview:
Music Lingua is a program which uses music, movement, drama, art and storytelling to teach children foreign languages. We use music as a base, and incorporate manipulatives and visuals, and lots of TPR, to make lessons fun and engaging. Kids learn while singing and playing, and retain the information longer because it’s set to music. In a Music Lingua program each student brings home a CD of the music and a bilingual lyrics booklet, so the learning continues even outside of class as the student listens to the songs at home and in the car.
Starting September 16th - There is NO FEE for this program! It is FREE!!
Ukulele Club will meet in the Vine Hill Music Room
- Kindergarten - 3rd Grade 2:20 - 2:40pm
